Annual GSA Youth Summit Flyer - Free event happening April 25th, 2026 at Agnes Scott College

2026 Annual Summit Incoming!

Every Spring, Georgia Safe Schools Coalition organizes a 1-day event to bring Georgia’s LGBTQIA+ youth, supportive educators, and parents from all over the state to join us for a free day of education, entertainment, and community. See more photos on our GSSC Facebook page. Register for the Summit here and the Annual Talent Show here!

Our Purpose:

Eliminate LGBTQ oppression in Georgia schools.

We educate and advocate on issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning students and families.

Opportunity for trans, queer, and Two Spirit youth artists!

The Gender Justice Leadership Program is always looking for TQ2S+ youth artists for projects and campaigns! If you are interested in being considered for paid artistic opportunities, please fill out the form in the link to be part of the new artist registry!

We are so proud of the GSSC 2024 Scholarship winners!

Yaretzy Comancho, winner of the Jenna’s Love Scholarship, and Nautica Montgomery, winner of the The Cheryl Courtney-Evans Memorial Scholarship, explain what these scholarships mean to them! Winners received $1,000 towards educational expenses. Runners up included Rosen Turquoise Gordon and Chris Miller, who received $100 towards educational expenses.

We are inspired by Georgia’s LGBTQIA+ youth every day and we are thrilled to honor Jenna Thomas and Cheryl Courtney-Evans.
