Scholarships

GSSC is proud to offer two scholarships of $1,000 each to LGBTQIA+ youth who are Georgia residents and are currently attending or have been accepted to a post-secondary program. Application materials for both scholarships are due January 31, 2024. This application for 2024 is now closed. Attending a college or university is one type of post high school education; however, attending a vocational program is also within the intention of these funds. If you meet the criteria for both scholarships, then it is okay to apply for both; however, each scholarship will have a different recipient.

Jenna’s Love Scholarship for fierce youth change agents

This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to LGBTQIA+ youth who believe in the transformational power of love, friendship, and leadership.

Cheryl Courtney-Evans Scholarship for QYOC

This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to queer youth of color who are committed to being authentic to themselves and who are involved with making a community better.
