Sarah E. Meng is a licensed mental health therapist, who is the Assistant Director of the Counseling Center at Georgia State University. Sarah has worked in hospitals, private practices, and university settings. In 2006, Sarah graduated from Agnes Scott College with majors in psychology and women’s studies. After working in cognitive testing in private practice as well as with Emory and the Shepherd Center, Sarah received a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. Sarah’s research with the Trans Resilience Project has been published in academic journals and presented at professional conferences. For more than a decade Sarah has co-facilitated a support group, Trans and Friends, which was recognized in 2015 as a Grand Marshal of Atlanta Pride.
