Alexandra Hicks

Alexandra Hicks is 27 years old and is a graduate of Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Public Policy (AYSPP) with a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy: Planning and Economic Development. She also earned a minor in Sociology and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. Alexandra received the 2009 Governor Joe Frank Harris Award, and she has interned with the Atlanta Beltline Partnership, AmeriCorps VISTA: The Faces of Homelessness, and Public Management and Policy’s Department for Career Services at AYSPP. Currently, she is working with GSSC and Hotlanta Softball League. HSL is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of amateur athletics with a special emphasis on the participation of members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community.
